It does not seem unreasonable to us, that we should only be paid a 'performance fee' when our investors have finished the year with more money than when they started.
To measure how we have performed, BSC uses a flat 10% return, rather than measuring performance against an index which moves up and down like a cork in the ocean.
Using this 10% benchmark promotes original thinking and investing and allows decisions to be based on long time horizons.
